Any events IDT organise will have leaders from the Irish Deaf Youth Association board and its volunteers. All leaders have undergone Child Protection Training and also Garda Vetting. The IDYA also works closely with the two Deaf Schools in Cabra; St.Mary’s and St.Joesph’s. The IDYA’s Child Protection Policy is available on request.
