You can help IDYA to raise funds and awareness of the IDYA and the Deaf community by organising a fundraising event in your hometown or undertaking a personal challenge or by getting your company, school or college involved.
You can help us in loads of different and exciting ways! Why not organise a fundraising event such as a Table Quiz, Bingo Night? Why not conquer your fears and do a parachute or bungee jump? Ever wanted to challenge yourself? Why not enter a marathon?
As you can see, there are loads of possibilities to choose from. We can give you the basics of what you need to get your event off the ground. It includes; sponsorship cards, t-shirts(if required) and information leaflets plus permission letters from the charity. All you need to do is to tell us about your event by contacting us.
We will send you a fundraising pack and support you whatever way we can. Don’t forget, you can also set up your own personal page and collect online donations from people by setting up a sponsorpage where you can blog photos and videos of the event!
Your company may wish to make a corporate donation to the IDYA. If they wish do so, please Contact Us and we will send you out a corporate sponsorship pack with all the details you will need.
